Spherical Nb521 powder is prepared by the plasma rotary electrode atomized process (PREP). Nb521 bar of end surface is heated by plasma arc to melt into liquid, and the liquid is ejected and crushed into fine droplets by the centrifugal force of high-speed rotation of the electrode. The droplets eventually form a spherical powder under the action of surface tension in the condensation process. Low impurity content, good sintering performance, powder metallurgy, sputtering target material, laser cladding, or directly used in super hard materials, welding materials, high temperature alloys, capacitor industry, high temperature metal additives, diamond tools and other industries.
